• I recently heard from Mark Evans who has been sailing on Lac Hourtin, the largest freshwater lake in France, it looks like a great spot. Only 40 miles from Bordeaux too! See pictures here
• I am pleased to say that we have now received the first entries in the Photographic Competition they can be be viewed online here. As Peter Gaskin urged you all recently "Get Snapping"!
• Kent Police have set up a website available to the public where, amongst other topics the latest crimesheet on stolen property and police measures to combat crime in our area can be viewed. As such there is no continuing need to update the forum with extracts from these reports and members can instead click the link for their own interests. Any hot news which is circulated prior to inclusion in the updates will be selectively posted on the Forum.

• Erith Yacht Club extends an invitation to our club members to their open weekend on the 17th/18th July at their new clubhouse. There will be dinghy and cruiser racing from 11am and a social event on Saturday night, prize giving is on Sunday.
