Application Procedure

Your completed Application Form will be displayed on the club notice board for not less than fourteen days. You will then be invited to attend an informal interview prior to formal consideration of your application by the General Committee. You will be informed in writing of the result: if accepted, you will be invoiced for the current membership fees; if not, your Entrance Fee will be returned.

Membership
Once your membership fees have been received, membership card/s for the current year will be issued together with a copy of the rules and bye- laws. We pride ourselves on being a ‘self-help’ club, and you will be expected to undertake various duties each year; a night security patrol, for  example, if you have a mooring; and work parties, which are held on first Sundays, October to July, to keep the grounds and facilities in good order at minimal cost. The personal details you have supplied on this form may be used in internal club publications.

Moorings and Shoreside Facilities
Requests for club moorings etc., which are only available to full or single members, should be made to the Honorary Moorings Master. Fees for moorings, storage etc and membership subscriptions are exempt from VAT.
